SHIPPING, RETURNS & TERMS
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
My returns policy meets Australian consumer law.
If you don't like your paddle, contact me and we can arrange a return. For change of mind returns you'll need to keep the paddle un-dented and not scratched - this means don't take it out for a paddle.
Used paddles can not be accepted as returns unless their is a fault with the paddle. Cost for return shipping will be born by you. (Normally about $40 in Australia)
If theres a fault with the paddle or something just not right, call me to discuss it and I will make it right. I'll either make you a new paddle, or provide a full refund.
WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?
I will ship anywhere in the world.
Shipping within Australia included in prices, and fully insured by me.
Shipping to NZ and across Asia can be arranged but is quite pricey.
Shipping worldwide is possible, but not always economic. If you've found me from America or Europe its probably more efficient to buy from your own continent.
CAN YOU SHIP TO A PO BOX?
No. I can only ship to an occupied address. I use a courier service that will safe drop where possible, but an attended daytime address is best (more secure).
SHIPPING METHOD AND TIMES
Shipping is by road freight for Australian deliveries. Long skinny things are really really expensive to air freight, so I'm sorr but you'll have to wait for your paddle to arrive.
Deliveries on the eastern seaboard generally arrive within 1 week of shipping. Deliveries to NT, WA and TAS take between 1 and 2 weeks.
Call me if you need faster shipping - we can work something out if needed.
WHEN WILL MY PADDLE SHIP
Paddles are normally shipped on a Monday. Sometimes shipping will occur later in the week. I will email you when you paddle leaves with the courier.
KAYAKING IS DANGEROUS
Kayaking is dangerous. You can drown and all sorts of other nasty things that I can't control can happen to you. Before you use a paddle made by me, seek specialist instruction on paddling safety and learn to know your limits.
Only use your paddle for normal kayak paddling - its not made to do anything else.
WILL MY PADDLE BREAK?
Of course you can break them – they’re wood, and just like any other paddle - surfing, hard rolls, rock gardening, levering off the beach and sitting on you paddle can break them.
In general use though, (paddling, rolling, etc) these paddles are certainly proven in terms of reliability.
If you break a paddle, and it’s clear you didn’t abuse it, I will replace it, as long as you send me all parts of any broken paddle. BUT If you break the paddle doing things like rock gardening, levering off the beach, levering up your car to change the tyre or something silly I won’t cover it.
If you dent you paddle severely, or split the tip, or just want a spruce up and refinish, call me for a quote on the work – I’ll be pleased to help.
